In 1993 a friend asked me to join her in taking a cake decorating class at a store in Jenison, Michigan called, The Cake Place. We spent 6 weeks learning a lot about cake decorating from our teacher and leaving with an ability to make a pretty fancy birthday cake. As I went home and started making birthday cakes for my 14 kids, news spread and after making my son's wedding cake, the orders then started coming in. Little did I know that after making that first wedding cake my cottage baking business would begin. 

Below are some of the cakes, cupcakes and cookies I have made for my customers in the last few years. I have been given pictures, thrown ideas and have picked brains apart doing my best to create the perfect product for my customers.
